Nearly 20 families are now living in the Santa Ynez Valley’s newest neighborhood.
Described by officials as the largest new home development in Solvang since 1968, Vistas at Skytt Mesa has 17 occupied homes and another 30 homes under construction, according to Terri Gibbs, public relations and marketing director for Coastal Community Builders.
Four model homes are expected to open in mid-February, she said. About 50 of the 128 lots have been sold, Gibbs added.
The single-family development offers one-story homes starting in the $500,000s, and ranging from 1,580 square feet to 2,250 square feet with three or four bedrooms. Most of the six floor plans will have three-car garages.
